I saw this while I was out and about and I have absolutely no idea what it is. The rear end reminds me of a first gen Cortina, while the roof looks like a Triumph Dolomite. Any guesses?

It looks like a Datsun 510 to me. The profile lines match up, as does the exhaust and wheel placement. The slightly sloped roof does muck it up a bit though, so not sure.

Third-gen Econoline. Looks to be in decent shape for its age.

I think Cortina is a good guess. The slope on the rear deck and the “eyebrows” over the tail-lamps look right for a Mark I.

Gives it “flow”.

I was thinking it might be a 142, but the back seems too rounded

I’m with you on Cortina. The angle over the taillights eliminates just about everything else. The drip rails along the roof seem to match too. I think the one under the tarp has a rear bumper delete.

Ford Econoline. :P (seriously, maybe ‘61 Rambler American?)
